The Cancer Research Team of the School of Medicine at South China University of Technology is led by an internationally renowned expert in digestive system oncology and a national high-level talent. It is based on the Comprehensive Cancer Center of South China University of Technology and the School of Medicine of South China University of Technology. The team members have published over 300 SCI articles, many of which have been published in top journals. The team has extensive cooperation with well-known cancer research institutions at home and abroad. The research content includes the scientific issues of the cellular origin and mechanism of the pathogenesis of digestive tract malignancies, especially pancreatic cancer, as well as the early clinical diagnosis and precise treatment. The team is committed to discovering the key tumor and stromal cell subpopulations that dominate the occurrence and development of digestive tract malignancies; conducting systematic research on their cell biological behaviors, genetic and epigenetic alterations, specific molecular markers, metabolic reprogramming, and regulatory signaling pathways; carrying out retrospective and prospective clinical studies on the early diagnosis of digestive tract malignancies based on specific markers; and developing new types of anti-cancer Postdocugs such as proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, and large/small molecule inhibitors.

Position Description

Position Type: Postdoctoral Researcher (Class I, Class II, Class III)

Disciplines related to Medicine, Biology, and Biomedical Engineering, full-time on-campus postdoctoral research work.

Recruitment Requirements

1. Adhere to laws and regulations, have good ideological and political performance and moral cultivation, be physically and mentally healthy, and have no record of illegal or disciplinary violations; possess strong research capabilities and academic potential.

2. Be 35 years old (inclusive) or younger.

3. Hold a doctoral degree from a well-known domestic or foreign university or research institution, and have obtained the degree for no more than three years; or be a recent doctoral graduate who has successfully defended their doctoral dissertation.

4. Engage in full-time postdoctoral research at the university.
