Company Profile
The School of Art was established in July 2004 and consists of the Department of Musicology, the Department of Instrumental Music, the Department of Vocal Music, the Department of Dance, and the Art Education Center. It was formerly known as the Department of Art under the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, which was founded in 2002. Currently, it has a first-level discipline master's degree authorization point in Music and Dance, as well as a professional master's degree authorization point in Art. The major of Music Performance is a national first-class undergraduate major construction point.
The school has an "Inheritance Base of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture (Guangdong Yue Opera Art)" designated by the Ministry of Education and a "Guangdong Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Base" designated by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture. It also has teaching and performance groups such as the South China University of Technology Youth Symphony Orchestra, Chorus, Chamber Orchestra, and Youth Dance Troupe. Many teachers have won national awards such as the "Golden Bell Award", "Wenhua Award", and "Lotus Award". The school has undertaken various projects including the National Social Science Fund and the National Art Fund. It has signed a student exchange program agreement with Wesleyan College in the United States.
The school adheres to the principle of cultivating virtue and fostering talent, using original works as a Postdociving force to promote the development of disciplines and the cultivation of talents. It has successively created and performed works such as the oratorio "The Pioneer - Sun Yat-sen", the chamber music suite "Qin-Yue Space-Time", the dance performance "Beautiful China", the symphonic suite "My Home, My Country", the choral picture "Yue Opera New Sound, Hear Guangdong", and the opera "Wedding on the Execution Ground". It has participated in major national performances such as the "Great Journey" to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the "Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland", receiving high praise from society. Students have won first and second prizes in the National College Students' Art Performance many times.
Position Type: Postdoctoral (Position A, Position B, Position C)
The recruitment is for full-time postdoctoral researchers who will undertake the regular research work of the School of Art of South China University of Technology and the relevant postdoctoral research stations, and fulfill the relevant responsibilities of the unit. The recruitment will be managed in a classified manner based on the applicant's educational background, innovation ability, academic achievements and level, and development potential.

Recruitment Requirements:
1. Adhere to laws and regulations, have good ideological and political performance and moral cultivation, be physically and mentally healthy, and have no record of illegal or disciplinary violations; possess strong research capabilities and academic potential.
2. Be 35 years old (inclusive) or younger.
3. Hold a doctoral degree from a well-known domestic or foreign university or research institute, having obtained the degree within no more than three years; or be a recent doctoral graduate who has successfully defended their doctoral dissertation.
4. Engage in full-time postdoctoral research at the university.

Working conditions:
1. The university offers postdoctoral researchers access to high-level national, ministerial and provincial-level research platforms and facilities of "Double First-Class" A-class universities. Currently, there are 30 national research platforms and 249 ministerial and provincial-level research platforms.
2. After completing 18 months of postdoctoral research or within one year of completing the postdoctoral program, one can apply for the title of associate researcher.
3. After completing the postdoctoral program, one can apply for teaching and research, full-time research and other series of positions to stay at the university. Postdoctoral researchers who have received the "Boming Plan" or "Special Project for Overseas Talent Recruitment for Postdoctoral Researchers" or have outstanding achievements will be given priority consideration.
4. The university has designed a complete development path and growth channel for young scientific and technological talents and provides long-term, stable and comprehensive support.

1. Competitive salary (up to 470,000 RMB per year before tax) is provided. In addition, the recruiting unit and the co-supervisor are encouraged to offer performance-based rewards.
