Job Requirements

Have research backgrounds in organic electro-synthesis, hyPostdocogen production, fuel cells, electrochemical engineering, in-situ spectroscopy, photoelectricity, thermal catalysis, etc.

Obtaining a doctoral degree usually takes three years, and the age is generally no more than 35 years old.

Compensation and benefits

Special Funding Category A: The school allocates personnel expenses at a standard of 300,000 yuan per year and provides a monthly housing allowance of 1,800 yuan.

Key Funding Category B: The school allocates personnel expenses at a standard of 200,000 yuan per year and provides a housing allowance of 1,800 yuan per month.

For the C category of international joint training programs, the university allocates personnel funds at a standard of 200,000 yuan per year (including state subsidies) plus the research group funds from the foreign partner.

Support and guarantee

Be eligible for talent subsidies in Changsha City as per policy (including living allowances and housing purchase subsidies ranging from 90,000 to 160,000 yuan).

During the period of being at the station, the school will calculate the working years. For postdoctoral researchers without previous work experience, the time of starting to work will be calculated from the date of entering the station.

The quota for associate researcher positions during the postdoctoral period is listed separately.

Introduction to the Co-supervisor

Wang Shuangyin is a national-level high-level talent, a highly cited researcher in chemistry and materials by Clarivate Analytics, and a highly cited Chinese researcher in chemistry by Elsevier. He received his Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2010 and then conducted research at Case Western Reserve University in the United States, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Manchester in the UK (as a Marie Curie Fellow). His main research areas include defect chemistry of electrocatalysts, electrochemical hyPostdocogen production, and fuel cells. His representative papers have been published in journals such as Nature Chemistry, Nature Catalysis, JACS, Angew. Chem., Adv. Mater., and Chem, with over 24,000 total citations and an H-index of 85. He has led projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Key Support Program, and has won the First Prize of the Natural Science Award of Hunan Province, the Ministry of Education's Youth Science Award, and the First Prize of the Chinese Overseas Contribution Award, among others, as the first author.
