Job Requirements

Professional Requirements: A doctoral degree in sports science, education, history, cultural studies, philosophy, or other related fields from a renowned university or research institute.

Obtaining a doctoral degree usually takes three years, and the age is generally no more than 35 years old.

Compensation and benefits

Special Funding Category A: The university allocates personnel expenses at a standard of 300,000 yuan per year (including national funding) + matching funds from the college/supervisor + a monthly housing allowance of 1,800 yuan.

Key Funding Category B: The university allocates personnel expenses at a standard of 200,000 yuan per year, plus matching funds from the college or supervisor, and a monthly housing allowance of 1,800 yuan.

General C category funding: The university allocates personnel expenses at a standard of 120,000 yuan per year, plus matching funds from the college or supervisor, and a monthly housing allowance of 1,800 yuan.

Support and guarantee

Be eligible for talent subsidies in Changsha City as per policy (including living allowances and housing purchase subsidies ranging from 130,000 to 200,000 yuan).

During the period of being at the station, the school will calculate the working years. For postdoctoral researchers without previous work experience before entering the station, their working time will be calculated from the date of entering the station.

3. Postdoctoral researchers are immediately rated as assistant researchers upon entry, and the quota for recognizing associate researchers during the postdoctoral period is listed separately.

4. The university has specially established the "Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow" award. Those who are selected can apply for a teaching and research position with a permanent staff status after completing their postdoctoral research.

Introduction to the Co-supervisor

Tian Zuoguo, male, a member of the Communist Party of China, is a professor with a doctorate and a postdoctoral fellow (excellent exit). He was a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota in the United States. Currently, he is a professor at Hunan University, a Yuelu Scholar, and a doctoral supervisor. He has led and completed four National Social Science Foundation projects (including one key project), two China Postdoctoral Science Foundation projects, one social science project of the General Administration of Sport of China, one industry-university cooperation project of the Ministry of Education, six provincial social science foundation projects (including one key project), one provincial education planning project, two provincial teaching reform research projects, and over ten research and teaching reform projects at the provincial, ministerial, and university levels. He has published nearly 60 academic papers, many of which have been reprinted in full in the "Renmin University Reprint Materials". He has authored or co-authored over ten books and textbooks, and teaches one provincial-level first-class course. He has been granted 17 national patents and one software copyright. He has won five provincial and ministerial-level scientific research awards and two provincial-level teaching awards. He serves as a communication reviewer for the National Social Science Foundation projects and the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences projects, an expert on the subject consultation committee of the Hunan Provincial Education Science Planning, a member of the Hunan Provincial Higher Education Physical Education Teaching Guidance Committee, the vice president of the Hunan Provincial Sports Science Society, and the vice chairman of the Hunan Provincial Sports Industry Association.
