Job Description
Professor Li Zhongbin's team from the School of Remote Sensing Information Engineering at Wuhan University (Laboratory for Scientific Discovery and Sustainable Development Based on Remote Sensing Big Data) is recruiting postdoctoral researchers both at home and abroad (recruitment open long-term). I. Research Directions Environmental remote sensing; land change science; environmental footprint; climate change and its impacts; forest protection, resource and environmental management, and global ecosystems; new energy; remote sensing data processing and product development at national and global scales, etc. II. Job Requirements 1. Age generally not exceeding 35 years old; have obtained a doctoral degree in remote sensing science and technology, geographic information science, computer science, ecology, environmental science or related fields within the past three years or recently. 2. Have published at least one first-author paper in mainstream academic journals of this field during doctoral studies or the past three years; possess solid foundations in spatial analysis, statistical analysis and computer programming. 3. Have a strong sense of responsibility, communication and coordination abilities, diligent and proactive working attitude, and teamwork spirit. III. Job Benefits 1. Salaries and welfare shall follow national and Wuhan University postdoctoral policies (refer to Wuhan University Hongyi Postdoctoral Program via https://rsb.whu.edu.cn/info/1182/28151.htm for details). Total annual salary no less than 300,000 yuan before tax (includes funds provided by the research group). 2. The university provides housing provident fund, endowment insurance, occupational annuity, postdoctoral apartments or housing subsidies, alongside support for children’s kindergarten and school admission, medical services and other benefits. 3. The team will assign 1 to 2 doctoral or master students to assist postdocs in research to facilitate efficient work progress.
