I. University Profile

Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is a key national university directly under the Ministry of Education, listed in the national "211 Project" and the "985 Project" Advantageous Disciplines Innovation Platform. It is also among the first batch of national "Double First-Class" construction universities. Located in Chengdu, a famous historical and cultural city known as the "Land of Abundance" in China, the university has two campuses—Guanghua and Liulin—covering an area of over 2,300 mu.

SWUFE currently offers 10 first-level disciplines authorized to grant doctoral degrees, including Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Law, Sociology, Management Science and Engineering, Marxist Theory, Mathematics, and Public Administration, as well as 4 first-level disciplines authorized to grant master’s degrees. It also has 3 doctoral professional degree categories (Accounting, Auditing, Social Work) and 17 master’s professional degree categories. The university boasts 4 national key disciplines: Finance, Political Economy, Accounting, and Statistics. It houses 6 postdoctoral research stations in Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics, Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, Statistics, and Law.

Applied Economics has been included in the world-class discipline construction program, while 6 disciplines—"Economics & Business," "Social Sciences (General)," "Engineering," "Computer Science," "Environmental Ecology," and "Mathematics"—rank among the top 1% globally in the ESI (Essential Science Indicators). In the 5th round of discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, the university achieved significant progress and breakthroughs. Its Business Administration has obtained dual accreditation from EQUIS and China’s High-Quality MBA. SWUFE is the first university in Chinese mainland to receive dual accreditation from AACSB for both business and accounting.

In recent years, SWUFE has proactively responded to the profound impact of transformative changes in economy, technology, and education on higher financial and economic education. It has actively explored innovative development paths for higher financial and economic education in the new era, taking the lead in proposing and advancing the strategic practice of "Building New Liberal Arts, Leading New Finance & Economics, and Creating New Advantages." The university has laid out emerging interdisciplinary fields such as financial technology, big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain; launched specialized directions including "Data Science and Big Data Technology," "Finance and Artificial Intelligence," and "Accounting with Big Data"; and established a number of financial and economic technology innovation teams. ### II. Recruitment Types

1. **Guanghua Postdoctoral Fellows**: No more than 14 positions are available for 2025. Recruitment follows the process of "individual application, recommendation by schools/institutes, and unified selection by the university," with two rounds of merit-based recruitment annually. The university provides supporting funds.

2. **Full-Time Research Postdoctoral Fellows**: Recruited year-round based on demand, with flexible entry dates.

### III. Application Requirements

1. Uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, support the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, implement the educational policies of the Party and the country, abide by the Constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China, and perform teacher duties in accordance with the law.

2. Possess a rigorous academic attitude, good team spirit, adhere to student-oriented education and moral education, promote the spirit of science, abide by academic norms, and have no violations of teacher ethics.

3. Be 35 years of age or younger.

4. Be expected to obtain a doctoral degree within 6 months, or have obtained a doctoral degree for no more than 3 years.

5. Doctoral graduates of SWUFE are not allowed to enter postdoctoral research stations in the same first-level discipline as their doctoral degree.

6. Must engage in full-time postdoctoral research during the station period.

### IV. Benefits During the Station Period

#### (I) Remuneration and Welfare

1. Competitive salary packages, with additional performance bonuses encouraged from schools and cooperating supervisors.

2. Chengdu social insurance, housing provident fund, enterprise annuity, trade union benefits, and fully equipped postdoctoral apartments or housing subsidies for non-homeowners.

3. Outstanding postdoctoral fellows during the station period may be prioritized for employment at the university through talent introduction assessments.

4. Unobstructed career development channels: Postdoctoral fellows are eligible for intermediate professional title recognition upon entry, and may apply for professional title evaluation in accordance with relevant regulations during the station period.

5. Performance bonuses will be issued based on the actual participation in teaching and research tasks, in accordance with relevant regulations.

#### (II) Other Support

Postdoctoral fellows may apply for various postdoctoral fund projects and funding programs through the university’s platform (specific funding amounts are subject to the superior policies of the year):

1. National Postdoctoral Research Funding Programs (Grades A, B, C), China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Grants and Special Grants, and postdoctoral international exchange programs, etc.

2. Sichuan Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Program, Sichuan Provincial Postdoctoral Research Project Special Grants, etc.
