Job Description

I. Position Types The university offers two postdoctoral positions: New Lecturer Postdoctoral and Regular Postdoctoral. New Lecturer Postdoctoral is an integration of faculty recruitment and postdoctoral training, serving as a key channel for selecting and developing new faculty. Appointees are directly hired as lecturers with a term of 2–3 years. Those who pass the exit assessment will sign an employment contract with the university, with their postdoctoral start date counting as the beginning of the first employment evaluation period. Regular Postdoctoral are recruited for the university’s priority disciplines, academic teams led by distinguished faculty, and key research projects, with a term of 2 years. Outstanding performers may stay as faculty through the university’s recruitment process. II. Eligibility Criteria Adhere to laws and regulations, demonstrate strong ideological and political integrity, ethical conduct, and academic ethics; excel in both moral character and academic performance; maintain good health; possess strong research capabilities, innovative potential, teamwork skills, and proficiency in verbal and written communication as well as classroom teaching. Recent doctoral graduates, generally under 35 years of age. For New Lecturer Postdoctoral positions, the age limit is typically 32 years. Preference is given to applicants with significant research achievements. Commit to full-time postdoctoral research. III. Remuneration and Benefits New Lecturer Postdoctoral staff enjoy benefits equivalent to a Level-10 Lecturer. The university provides an annual allowance of 50000 yuan, a research start-up fund of 150000 yuan, and a housing subsidy of 20000 yuan per year for those who do not need university accommodation. Regular Postdoctoral staff receive an annual salary of no less than 120000 yuan. Performance bonuses will be issued for research achievements in accordance with university rules. Cooperating supervisors can provide extra living allowances based on actual conditions. Full social insurance, medical insurance and housing provident fund are provided. Postdocs are encouraged to apply for various national funding programs, and all subsidies issued by national, provincial and municipal authorities will be fully given to the individuals.
