The School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) traces its origins to the Department of Engineering Economics, one of the three founding departments when the university was established in 1955. After 70 years of development, it has formed a multi-level disciplinary and professional layout with a strong background in information and communications and distinctive academic characteristics. The school offers a first-level doctoral program in Management Science and Engineering and a postdoctoral research station. In recent years, it has undertaken dozens of national-level projects (represented by 4 major projects of the National Social Science Fund), hundreds of provincial and ministerial-level vertical projects, international cooperation projects, and over a thousand enterprise-oriented horizontal projects. Against the backdrop of the digital economy being elevated to a national strategy, the school has integrated multiple resources to carry out organized scientific research, released a framework for guiding digital economy research and an implementation plan for interdisciplinary integration, and established six distinctive research teams in fields such as digital economy, data governance, and digital transformation. Some sub-fields have produced a series of high-level research results and major key projects, forming the school’s research brand. In recent years, the school has attached great importance to faculty development, successively promoting reforms in talent work and postdoctoral management, vigorously introducing high-level talents, outstanding young talents, and excellent postdoctoral researchers, and providing sound development platforms and support conditions for the growth of various talents.

### Basic Qualifications for Postdoctoral Recruitment

1. Under 35 years of age;

2. Graduated from first-class universities or research institutions at home and abroad;

3. Excellent academic achievements, strong innovative vitality, and academic potential; generally, no more than 3 years since obtaining a doctoral degree;

4. Priority is given to applicants from other institutions or other first-level disciplines, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary integration.

### Salary and Benefits for Postdoctoral Researchers

1. Competitive basic salary plus performance bonuses;

2. During the tenure, enjoy the same housing provident fund, social insurance, and other benefits as formal employees of the university in accordance with the signed agreement;
