I. Profiles of Cooperative Supervisors

**Hua Sheng** is a renowned economist in China, one of the first batch of "national experts with outstanding contributions," and a key proposer and promoter of three major reforms that have influenced China’s economic reform process (the dual-track price system, state-owned asset system, and split-share structure reform). He currently serves as a Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at Southeast University, Dean of the National Institute of Development and Policy (NIDP) at Southeast University, and Honorary Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Southeast University. He has been awarded the Sun Yefang Economic Science Award, the First Prize for Excellent Papers of Central Government Agencies, and the China Economic Theory Innovation Award.

**Zhao Lindu** is a Distinguished Professor at Southeast University and Vice Dean of NIDP. He has presided over more than 20 national-level research projects, including national key科技攻关 projects, national science and technology support programs, and major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. He holds over 20 authorized international PCT patents and national invention patents, has published more than 10 academic monographs, and is currently leading a major project of the National Social Science Foundation.

**Liu Xiuyan** is a Distinguished Professor at Southeast University, Vice Dean of NIDP, a recipient of national high-level talent programs, and chief expert of major projects of the National Social Science Foundation. He has published over 90 papers in core domestic and foreign journals such as *Economic Research Journal*, *Management World*, *Habitat International*, and *Cities*. He has presided over one major, one key, one general, and one youth project of the National Social Science Foundation, and has received multiple provincial and ministerial awards, including the Third Prize of the Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education.

### II. Postdoctoral Programs and Job Responsibilities

Postdoctoral positions are affiliated with the School of Economics and Management, Southeast University:

#### (I) Professor Hua Sheng’s Team (Beijing):

- **Project 1**: China’s practice and issues of economic and social transformation;

- **Project 2**: Relationships between government and market, enterprises and society;

- **Project 3**: Research on human cooperation and evolution from the perspective of economics integrated with evolutionary biology, psychology, and anthropology.

#### (II) Professor Zhao Lindu’s Team (Nanjing):

- **Project 1**: Resilience and security of industrial and supply chains;

- **Project 2**: Management and service issues of chronic comorbidities;

- **Project 3**: Theories of health data welfare;

- **Project 4**: Theories of capital control.

#### (III) Professor Liu Xiuyan’s Team (Nanjing):

- **Project 1**: Urban spatial structure and urban development;

- **Project 2**: Integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration;

- **Project 3**: Rural revitalization and common prosperity;

- **Project 4**: Urban system and coordinated regional development.

**Job Responsibilities** include but are not limited to: 1) Conducting research in relevant fields and publishing research results; 2) Participating in think tank research, publishing, conferences, and project activities of NIDP.

### III. Application Requirements

1. Uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, abide by the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China and relevant laws and regulations, and have good ideological and political quality and moral integrity;

2. Hold a doctoral degree from a renowned domestic or foreign university, be under 35 years of age, have obtained a doctoral degree within the past 3 years, or be expected to obtain a doctoral degree within 6 months;

3. Have research background in one of the twelve fields covered by the three teams and have achieved notable research results, with at least one high-level academic paper published or formally accepted;

4. Possess the ability to conduct independent research, good expression skills, teamwork spirit, and strong capabilities in literature collection, data analysis, and English writing and communication;

5. Be able to engage in postdoctoral work full-time. The position is formally affiliated with Nanjing; the team of Professor Hua Sheng works in Beijing, while the teams of Professor Zhao Lindu and Professor Liu Xiuyan work in Nanjing.

### IV. Salary and Benefits

1. **Annual salary**: 350,000 yuan/year for Zhishan Postdoctoral Fellows; 180,000 yuan/year for regular postdoctoral fellows. Regular postdoctoral fellows who meet the university’s relevant requirements after employment can apply to join the Zhishan Postdoctoral Fellow sequence.

2. **Supervisor’s allowance**: Depending on the applicant’s qualifications, the cooperative supervisor may provide an allowance in four tiers: 30,000, 60,000, 90,000, or 120,000 yuan/year.
