The Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology (TIB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) is a nonprofit national research institution engaged in establishing a national innovation system for industrial biotechnology to promote the eco-friendly development of industrial sectors. TIB has a strong focus on technology transfer and holds cooperative relationships with many commercial enterprises.
