Job Description

Qualifications English teaching certification, e.g. TEFL, CELTA or TESOL. Valid Through 2024/9/1 Job Description 1. Course content: IELTS preparation (teaching materials and syllabus provided); 2. Workload: 20 teaching hours per week, exam marking. No office hours besides a few meetings per semester; 3. Class size: 20-25 students; 4. Students age: 17-19 years old. Salary and Benefits 1. Free apartment (fully furnished) and heating provided free of charge, located 5 minutes walking distance from classroom. Office with free internet access and computer also provided. Should you have children, the university’s kindergarten has a very low fee; 2. Monthly salary 10,000-12,000 RMB after tax (payment varies according to qualifications and experience). Travel allowance of 16,000 RMB per year (before tax). Holidays: all holidays paid, including summer break (around 2 months), winter break (2 months) and all official Chinese holidays; 3. One-year contract (renewable), beginning in Sep 2024; 4. Social Health Insurance, visa renewal, and course guidance and materials are all provided.
