Job Description
I. Introduction of the Research Group Prof. Zhang Sicai (PI), a doctoral supervisor at Northwest A&F University’s Future Agriculture Institute, specializes in host-microbe interactions. After earning his Ph.D. from the University of Düsseldorf (Germany) and postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School, he has published first/co-first-author papers in Nature Communications, Cell Host & Microbe, and NSMB. His group employs multidisciplinary approaches (biochemistry, microbiology, structural biology) to study intestinal pathogens. Key research directions: 1) Discovery of novel bacterial toxins (e.g., neurotoxin analogs) and their applications in drug development. 2) Molecular mechanisms of pathogen-host interactions using CRISPR screening and structural biology. II.
