Job Description

I. Introduction of the Research Group Prof. Li Xuejun, a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor at Northwest A&F University, leads the wheat molecular design breeding research team. He is Director of the Ministry of Education’s Engineering Research Center for Wheat Breeding, a National Leading Talent, and recipient of the State Council Special Allowance. As Chief of the Nanyang Wheat Breeding Experimental Station and head of the national first-class major "Seed Science and Engineering," he has led 30+ projects (including national key R&D programs), bred 12 wheat varieties, and won 1 National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Prize) and 5 provincial awards. Published 60+ papers, his team focuses on functional gene exploration, molecular breeding systems, and high-yield, disease-resistant wheat varieties. II. Recruitment Requirements - Ph.D. in crop breeding, molecular biology, or related fields (obtained within 3 years); age ≤35. - First-author papers in international mainstream journals or high-impact research achievements. - Passion for research, teamwork skills, and independent work capability. - Strong analytical/communication skills, ability to lead or co-lead projects.
