Job Description
Northwest A&F University, located in Yangling, Shaanxi Province (the cradle of Chinese agricultural civilization and a national agricultural high-tech zone), is a Ministry of Education-affiliated "985" and "211" key university, selected for China’s "Double First-Class" initiative. Its Animal Husbandry discipline is a first-class construction discipline. The Animal Embryo Engineering team, led by Academician Zhang Yong, focuses on cattle/sheep embryo development, cloning, and gene-edited disease-resistant livestock. Achievements include 1 National Technology Invention Award, 3 provincial/ministerial awards, 30 patents, and 300+ papers.
I. Research Direction
Conduct basic/applied research on cattle/sheep embryo engineering and gene editing, spanning animal medicine, animal science, bioscience, and interdisciplinary fields.
II. Position Requirements
1. Outstanding Young Talents:
• Age ≤40 (≤45 for exceptional candidates); full-time commitment.
• Ph.D. from top institutions with associate professor+ title.
• High-impact first/corresponding-author papers in top journals (past 5 years).
• Priority for national talent program awardees.
2. Young Talents:
• Age ≤38; Ph.D. from domestic/international institutions.
• Strong data analysis and writing skills; published in authoritative journals.
• Background in epigenetics, 3D genomics, or animal developmental biology.
• Priority for multi-species/non-model organism research experience.
3. Postdoctoral Fellow:
• Age ≤35; Ph.D. with first-author SCI papers.
• Expertise in animal gene regulation, oocyte/embryo development.
• Full-time dedication to postdoctoral research.
