Job Description
Wang Pengfei, a dual-appointed PI at the Shanghai Institute of Major Infectious Diseases and Biosafety, focuses on emerging infectious disease prevention, including antibody/drug screening, vaccine design, and evaluation. He has published 80+ papers (cited 10,000+ times), including 30+ first/corresponding-author articles in journals such as Nature (3), Nature Reviews Immunology, Cell Host & Microbe (3), and PNAS. He holds grants from national talent programs, NSFC, and MoST key projects. Recognized as a Clarivate Global Highly Cited Scientist (2023–2024), Elsevier Top 2% Scientist, Fudan’s inaugural “Xiaomi Young Scholar,” and recipient of the Alibaba DAMO “Young Orange Award.” Recruitment: 1–2 postdoctoral researchers. Requirements: - Background in structural biology; ability to conduct independent structural analysis. - Ph.D. (or pending) in life sciences; strong interest in the group’s research. - Passion for research, independent work capability, and English proficiency. - First-author SCI publications. - Integrity, attention to detail, teamwork skills.
