一． School Profile

Xiamen University, founded in 1921 by Mr. Chen Jiageng, a renowned patriotic overseas Chinese leader, holds the distinction of being the first university established by overseas Chinese in the history of modern Chinese education. It is also a national "211 Project" and "985 Project" key university, designated for focused high-level construction. In 2017, Xiamen University was included in the list of Class A world-class universities announced by the state. Subsequently, in 2022, it was selected for the second round of "Double First-Class" construction universities and disciplines.

二．Postdoctoral Introduction

Xiamen University was among the first institutions in China to establish postdoctoral research stations, now boasting 36 such facilities. It features a strong team of cooperative mentors, primarily composed of academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other renowned scholars. The university has recruited over 2,500 postdoctoral fellows, fostering their growth into discipline leaders, academic mainstays, and even academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. These postdoctoral fellows are considered a crucial reserve force for high-level talent and a vital teacher reserve team at Xiamen University.

三．Enrollment conditions

Applicants should;

1. Have good ideological and political quality, moral character and style of study, and be physically and mentally healthy;

2. Generally be not more than 35 years old; If it conforms to national policies, it may be appropriately relaxed;

3. Have obtained or are about to obtain a doctoral degree, and the doctoral degree is generally not more than 3 years;

4. Have good scientific research potential and strong innovation ability, and have a high degree of enthusiasm for scientific research;

5. Meet other enrollment conditions formulated by the rover.

四．Support policies

五．Application process

1. Establish Preliminary Intention: Contact the cooperative supervisor to confirm mutual interest. (Refer to the mobile station position demand table for supervisor contact information.)
2. Submit Application Materials: Contact the postdoctoral secretary of the relevant mobile station (see the address list for details) to submit your application. Required materials primarily include the application form, academic qualifications, and identity certificates.
3. University Approval and National Filing: Your application will undergo approval by the university and subsequent national filing.
4. Onboarding: Upon approval, you will complete the check-in process and formally join the university.
