### Profile of the Cooperating Supervisor

Professor Yu Xinguo currently serves as the Dean of the Wollongong Joint Institute, Central China Normal University; a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the National Engineering Research Center for Digital Learning and the National Engineering Research Center for Educational Big Data Application Technology; an Honorary Professor at the University of Wollongong, Australia; and President of the Hubei Intelligent Science and Education Research Association.

Professor Yu studied and conducted research at Huazhong University of Science and Technology for over a decade, then pursued scientific research at Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, and the Institute for Infocomm Research in Singapore for nearly 20 years. His research has long focused on artificial intelligence, intelligent science education, and educational robotics. His current main research directions include but are not limited to: application and innovation of artificial intelligence in education, intelligent educational technology and its application in science education, and research and development of educational robotics technology and intelligent teaching systems. He has published over 200 papers, including more than 30 SCI-indexed papers. Renowned in the field of intelligent science education, Professor Yu has served as a keynote speaker, conference chair, or program chair at over 30 international conferences, hosted multiple international conferences, and founded an international annual conference in the field of intelligent science education.

### Introduction to the Institution

Central China Normal University Wollongong Joint Institute (hereinafter referred to as "the Joint Institute") is a Sino-foreign cooperative education institution jointly established by Central China Normal University and the University of Wollongong, Australia, with official approval from the Ministry of Education. By introducing high-quality international curriculum systems, quality monitoring, and academic standards in information technology from the University of Wollongong, and relying on national-level research platforms such as the National Engineering Research Center for Digital Learning and the National Engineering Research Center for Educational Big Data Application Technology, the Joint Institute strengthens the leadership and support of scientific research for professional development, education and teaching, and talent training quality. It aims to cultivate application-oriented and innovative graduate talents with an international perspective in key fields meeting national strategic needs.

### Application Requirements

To meet work needs, we plan to recruit 2 postdoctoral researchers:

1. Generally under 35 years of age;

2. Have obtained a doctoral degree from domestic or overseas universities, or will obtain a doctoral degree by 2025;

3. In good physical and mental health, and in compliance with the regulations on postdoctoral management of Central China Normal University;

4. Academic background: related fields such as artificial intelligence, educational technology, computer science, robotics technology, and educational big data;

5. Research capabilities: possess a solid research foundation and strong ability in academic paper writing (priority given to those with published SCI papers);

6. Teamwork: have good communication skills and teamwork spirit, and be committed to promoting cutting-edge research in intelligent science education;

7. Innovation ability: have strong innovative thinking and be willing to explore the application potential of new technologies in education.

### Job Benefits

1. Annual salary: Approximately 230,000 yuan (up to about 700,000 yuan if selected into national postdoctoral talent programs);

2. Housing: Postdoctoral apartments or rental subsidies provided;

3. Career development: After completing the postdoctoral program, fellows may apply for faculty positions at the university. Those selected into national postdoctoral talent programs or with outstanding achievements may be prioritized for employment after evaluation;
