Lanzhou University 2025 Postdoctoral Recruitment Announcement

Founded in 1909, Lanzhou University is a national key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education, a key university under the national "985 Project" and "211 Project", and a national "Double First-Class" construction university (Class A). It is an important place for high-level talent training and high-level scientific research in the country, especially in the western region.

At present, the university has 46 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degrees, 29 first-level disciplines authorized for doctoral degrees, and 23 postdoctoral research stations. Four disciplines, namely chemistry, atmospheric science, ecology and grass science, were selected into the list of world-class disciplines. Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Earth Sciences, Botany and Zoology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biology and Biochemistry, Environmental Science and Ecology, Clinical Medicine, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Agricultural Science, General Social Sciences, Computer Science, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Microbiology, Immunology and other 17 disciplines are among the top 1% of ESI in the world, of which chemistry is in the top 1‰ of ESI in the world.

In order to accelerate the gathering of innovative and dynamic postdoctoral talents at home and abroad, and build a globally competitive talent system, Lanzhou University is now openly recruiting postdoctoral researchers at home and abroad. The specific requirements and treatment are as follows:

一. Application requirements

(一) Cuiying Postdoctoral Fellow

1. Applicants should have obtained a doctorate degree within 3 years, under the age of 35, with outstanding innovation ability, good spirit of scientific research cooperation, and great development potential. They should also meet the academic admission standards set by the station-setting college.

2. Those selected for the national "Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program" can be directly selected as "Cuiying Postdoctoral".

3. Fresh doctoral graduates can apply for "Cuiying Postdoctoral Fellow" in advance, and go through the station after obtaining the degree conferment resolution certificate or degree certificate.

(二) Ordinary postdoctoral fellows

1. Should have obtained a doctorate degree within no more than 3 years, and the age should not exceed 35 years.

2. Should have strong scientific research ability and potential for innovative research.

二. Remunerations

1. Offer of a competitive remuneration package.

2. Those who are selected for the state-funded postdoctoral personnel research program (A, B, C) will be given full funding on the basis of the university's salary.

3. Full access to social insurance and housing provident fund in accordance with national regulations.

4. Provision of opportunities to apply for deferred funding.

三．Promotion opportunities

1. During the station, postdoctoral fellows can apply for professional title qualifications.

2. The "Cuiying Postdoctoral" and the "Ordinary Postdoctoral" with excellent performance can apply for career establishment positions according to the conditions and procedures for talent introduction. These promotions come with the corresponding housing subsidies, settling-in allowances, scientific research start-up fees and other benefits.

四．Accomodation and settlement

1. Postdoctoral fellows at the station can rent the school turnover apartment according to their needs.
